The History
Named after Reverend David Bruce, a prominent Auckland Presbyterian Minister, Bruce House opened its doors in 1954, initially accommodating 45 boys. Over the years, our boarders have played an integral role in beautifying the College grounds, contributing to landscaping, path laying, and campus development.
In a landmark moment in 2011, Bruce House welcomed girls for the first time, ushering in a positive change. Today, girls and boys share meals, socialise, and support each other like siblings at home. Bruce House has evolved remarkably since its inception, becoming a thriving hub of unity and camaraderie.
