Girls’ School Vox Box Earns Gold at The Kids Sing
For the second year running, Vox Box participated in The Kids Sing Festival, held this year at the start of Spring in Auckland Town Hall. More than 90 singers from Years 3–6 performed at the event and were delighted to receive a Gold Award for their recital.
The Kids Sing is New Zealand's national choral festival and competition for primary and intermediate school students. Run annually by the New Zealand Choral Federation (NZCF), the nationwide event involves around 5,500 children across multiple regional centers.
At the Festival, Vox Box opened with the dramatic Nasty Little Dragonsong, followed by the test piece Hine e Hine. A spirited rendition of Earworm rounded out their performance.
Congratulations to all our talented young singers on this wonderful achievement and a performance filled with energy and enthusiasm.
