Chalmers House Dominates Boys’ Cross Country
Chalmers House triumphed in this year’s Boys' School Cross Country, securing the top spot with impressive performances across all age groups. The competition was fierce, with participants from each house demonstrating remarkable athleticism and team spirit.
The event was held over two days, starting with the Year 0-2 boys who ran their races at the Martyn Wilson Fields. The Year 3-8 boys took on the challenging course at the College, navigating an unfamiliar course that truly tested their cross country running skills.
The younger boys, in Year 0-2, ran with enthusiasm and determination, setting the tone for the older students. Year 3-8 boys showcased their endurance and speed, with many earning top spots and contributing valuable points to their respective houses.
Chalmers House emerged victorious, followed by Hamilton, Cargill, and Wishart in the House rankings. A special commendation goes out to all the boys who participated, cheered on their peers, and represented their houses with pride.
Congratulations to all the boys for their hard work and sportsmanship. We look forward to seeing many of these runners advance to the Eastern Zones competition in Term 3, where they will undoubtedly continue to excel.
