The Parents and Friends Associations of each school play a vital role in creating a sense of community and camaraderie among current and former parents while supporting the schools' activities and initiatives. Throughout the year, various events bring our parents and friends together to lend a hand.
Membership
Each association has a dedicated team of volunteers. The natural attrition of students graduating or moving on creates opportunities for new members to join. We always welcome parents interested in joining our efforts.
The annual AGM occurs in March when committee positions are formally confirmed. There are multiple opportunities for parents who wish to contribute occasionally or in other ways.
What We Do
Each of the three school associations meets approximately eight times yearly at their respective campuses to plan and discuss current and upcoming activities. During these meetings, a senior staff member or representative, in collaboration with a Trust Board delegate, provides updates and addresses any queries from parents, creating an essential channel for information sharing.
The College association actively participates by offering volunteer support and raising funds. Support operating Kents Café for Middle School students and Saints Café for Senior School students and organising special fundraising events is included.
The Girls' and Boys' School associations contribute to their schools through fundraising initiatives and significant events like Fireworks Night, Celtic Day, and Flora MacDonald Day, celebrating our rich Celtic heritage.
Hosting and catering support for various functions is provided by our associations, offering enjoyable and rewarding experiences for all involved.
The funds raised by the Parents and Friends Associations are used at the discretion of their respective committees to provide additional equipment or facilities that enhance the students' educational experience.
